Why are you parents giving your CHILDREN cell phones! Melinda was the true entertainer! Stop letting your babies text and call to send two less than worthy opponents to the finals!? Ridiculous. The last episodes are not worth watching. I am going to wait for Melinda's CD. Blake and Jordin stink.

Elliot was AWESOME! I really loved him last year, although Taylor was my pick. I can't wait to get Elliott's new CD. Tyalor, what's going on with you?? Where's the music, bud???

So, my pick is and always has been Melinda Doolittle to be the next American idol!
She has it ALL! She is the best overall entertainer by far! Last nights performances were great! Blake did his little annoying beatbox thinga agin..dang, does he NO have access the the web?! So many are tired of it. Just sing! Jordin had some pitch issues yet again. She is cute but that ,"oh, I'm such a cutie!' act is really making me want to reach for the Pepto! Can't wait for tonight!! If this were not a popularity contest, she should have gone instead of one of the boys. I was embarrassed for her. What was up with that hair, GIRL??? YIKES! Rock-n-Roll Halloween???
I was a little bummed that (Phil went home. I was really rooting for him...although, I do think Melinda is the best entertainer and will win. BUT, PHIL... when you get that contract, I will be in line for the CD! What an awesome voice. Poor Chris...he has no worries..someone will pick up that lil cutie, if they haven't already..HAH..he is recording. Sorry..Jordin's performance was WAY bad..worse than anyone else's. Can't wait for tomorrow night!!

OK, So Sanjaya is OUT! He was a sweet kid, I'm sure, but NOT a singer. Sorry to Howard Stern...awww...poor thing. Pathetic. Now, let's hear some real singing. I have been voting for Melinda and Phil consistently. Who do YOU want to win?

American Idol or American Idiot?

What is with the stupid people that vote for the worst American Idol contestant?? You are ruining things, not only for the GOOD performers, but for the fans of American Idol. If that terrible, croaking teenager wins AI because of a bunch of stupid people voting for him then, the producers of AI may pull the plug on any future seasons! WHY have a show when the bad singer wins. (And, I use the word singer VERY loosely!) There have so many let go from the competition because of a the stupid, inconsiderate people voting for Sanjaya or anyone else that stinks. The website (which I will not even link to here) claims that it "is a joke". It is not a joke. It is a malicous scheme. VOTE FOR THE BEST, NOT THE WORST!

American Idol Tonight......

So, who sits, anticipating melinda Dollittle's next performance?? Besides ME, of course. I also look forward to what Blake will do to entertain us. I like to see Sanjaya tear through a song like a tornado, ripping it to shreds, every week. Now THAT'S Entertainment!

Melinda definitely has the WOW FACTOR!

She brough Paula to tears, me to tears and we even saw Simon choke up a little! (He blamed it on Paula...)WOW...Melinda Doolittle had my votes agin! WHAT an awesome voice! What an awesome peformance! She is 5 STAR quality! I can barely wait to see her sing again. WOW...

Doolittle Does a LOT!

Melinda Doolittle has my vote for American Idol 2007. She has been consistently better than any of the other female contestants. She is very humble, very modest and so deserves to win. I do like one of the guys, Chris Sligh. What a smooth, velvet vibrato on that boy! WOO! I think America will vote to have Blake stay over Chris S., though, because of popularity issues. Chris S. definitely has the better voice, tone, etc, but Blake keeps the audience in a contemporary mood. BUT, in the end..my vote would be Chris Sligh vs. Melinda Doolittle.
And I think Melinda will be the NEXT..AMERICAN IDOL!

I miss my dad...

Yeah, I miss my dad. he died almost 2 1/2 yrs ago, 4 months after being diagnosed with lung cancer. The tumor in his right lung was bigger than a baseball. His "Doctor" lost his license exactly 1 month before my dad was diagnosed, due to substance abuse. Hmmm, go figure. My dad might still be alive today had his symptoms been given more attention. He trusted this "DR". I miss him.

WANTED! Authentic Mexican Food Recipes!

So...who has some REAL Mexican food recipes? I am tired of TEX MEX, fake, Mexican food. I want authentic recipes. I love jalapenos, tortillas, all of it. Let's share! I have a recipe site that I will add these recipes to. I will credit anyone or any site that wants credit. Make my mouth water! :)

What's new?

So, what's new? any news worth yakking about? The guy next me keeps burping among making other lovely bodily noises. No one has respect for a woman anymore. Where is the gentleman that would open the door for me?? I love to be treated like a lady. I don't burn my bras, dangit..open the damn door for me! I will open it for a man, too, if the need arises. What's the big deal? People are becoming so nasty, so irritable lately. I smile at the women in the hallways here and over half of them give me a "whatever" look and look away. OR, worse they just look at me with a blank expression on their face. What do they want? Should I open my purse and hand them a 10 dollar bill so they will smile at me? I don't get it. Can't people just be nice anymore? My dad used to tell me I was "too nice." That people are "not going to be as nice to me" and I should "harden up a bit." I shrugged it off. Now, I wonder if I should've listened to him...Post to my next blog, please? I need a friend....

Controversial Celebs???

So sad about Anna Nicole's sudden death. So, people judge her. Did she really marry that older man for money? Who knows! Who can judge? Did ya ASK HER? Feel badly for that baby girl she left behind. The one that will be followed forever because of court related issues that will take years to resolve. She will only hear from news about her mother's wild affairs and never know whata good mom, Anna may have been.
What about that Super Bowl show? I missed PRINCE! I saw him in 1988. I was 2nd row in Dallas. I stood in the center isle. No one was in the isle and he actually sang part of a song to me. I was that close. It was awesome! I love Prince's music. SO, do you think his guitar routine was too suggestive? I haven't decided yet. I THINK, maybe it is just him...maybe a subtle hint of phallus behavior? ;)
